US President Donald Trump said he was ready to organize a trilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin almost immediately after the summit in Alaska if it “goes well.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said this during a briefing<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Trump said he was ready to hold a second meeting, this time in a trilateral format with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n

“If the first meeting goes well, the second meeting will be quick, I would like to have it almost immediately – between Putin, Zelensky and me, if they want me to be there,” Trump said.<\/p>\n

According to him, the upcoming summit in Alaska should create the necessary preconditions for such a meeting. At the same time, the US president stressed that it may not take place if Putin insists on his own conditions that contradict the vision of the American side.<\/p>\n

“There may not be a second meeting, if I feel that it should not be held because I will not hear the answers that I need to hear, then we will not have a second meeting,” he noted.<\/p>\n

Trump also focused on today’s negotiations with Zelensky and European leaders, giving them very high marks.<\/p>\n

“A very good conversation. I would rate it a ten,” the US president emphasized.<\/p>\n
