Ahead of the UK release of the film Life of Chuck, based on the short story by Stephen King, the writer gave an interview to The Guardian<\/a> in which he touched on the subject of Donald Trump’s presidency.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When asked what the “endgame of Trump’s America” might be like if he had written it, the writer noted:<\/p>\n

“I think it would be impeachment – which I think would be a good ending. I would like to see him resign, so to speak. A bad ending would be that he gets a third term and takes over completely. It’s a terrible story either way. Trump is a terrible story, isn’t he?”<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time King has criticized the current president. In February of this year, he called him a “Putin-loving traitor” on social media site X, adding that “this is twice as much about Elon.”<\/p>\n
