Starting in September, students in grades 5-11 at schools in frontline areas will receive free meals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by the Minister of Education and Science, Oksen Lisovyi, on the air of the telethon “United News”.<\/p>\n

“Now we are moving on to the second stage, feeding grades 5-11 in front-line territories. Thus, children who study in full-time format from grades 1 to 11 will be fed there,” said Lisovyi.<\/p>\n

The minister noted that 800 million hryvnias will be allocated from the state budget to local budgets for free meals for primary school students throughout the country, as well as for organizing meals for schoolchildren in front-line territories.<\/p>\n

Such meals will not be arranged, so parents should contact the school administration, regional military administrations, education departments, and the Ministry of Education and Science.<\/p>\n

Local communities will organize such meals. Lisovyi expressed confidence that communication regarding the expansion of the student contingent was carried out a long time ago, and the communities are already ready for this.<\/p>\n
