French President Emmanuel Macron announced a new meeting of the countries participating in the \u201cCoalition of the Determined\u201d to achieve \u201cconcrete progress.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

He<\/span> wrote<\/span><\/a> about this on the social network X.<\/span><\/p>\n

Macron noted that after the summit between the leaders of the United States and Russia, he had a telephone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky and European partners.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, officials agreed that it is necessary to continue supporting Ukraine and putting pressure on Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, Macron emphasized the necessary security guarantees for Ukraine, which must accompany any peace.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn this regard, I welcome the willingness of the United States to contribute. We will work on this with them and with all our partners in the Coalition of the Resolute, with whom we will meet again soon, to achieve concrete progress. It will also be important to draw all the lessons of the last 30 years, in particular from Russia\u2019s persistent tendency not to meet its own obligations,\u201d the French president noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that France remains on Ukraine’s side and will continue to work closely with Zelensky and Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Suspilny<\/a> , the meeting of the “Coalition of the Determined” will be held online on August 17 at 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
