US President Donald Trump has invited European leaders to a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which will take place on Monday, August 18, at the White House.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> The New York Times.<\/span><\/p>\n

As noted, during the meeting, Trump plans to discuss with Zelensky a way to end the war by transferring to Russia the territories that it was unable to capture.<\/span><\/p>\n

European officials have also been invited to the White House meeting, but it is currently unknown which of them will arrive in the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Putin suggested that Ukraine withdraw its troops from the Ukrainian-controlled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions as a first step towards ending the war<\/a> .<\/p>\n

As is known, during a conversation with Zelensky and European leaders, Trump stated that the Russian dictator’s plans for Donbas remained unchanged<\/a> .<\/p>\n

By the way, the Russian army, given the political situation, may increase pressure and strikes against Ukrainian positions in the coming days<\/a> in order to create favorable circumstances for “talks with global actors.”<\/p>\n
