On Sunday, August 17, French President Emmanuel Macron and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom announced that the “Coalition of the Willing” is ready to deploy support forces in Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> the press service of the British government.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noted that after the summit between the leaders of the United States and Russia, European leaders discussed further steps towards resolving the Russian-Ukrainian war.<\/span><\/p>\n

They confirmed their unwavering position in support of Ukraine and highly appreciated Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s aspiration for a just and lasting peace.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, the participating countries of the \u201cCoalition of the Willing\u201d have emphasized their readiness to deploy support forces after the cessation of hostilities. In addition, they are ready to help ensure security in the sky and at sea, as well as restore the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, the British government’s statement notes that the “Coalition of the Willing” will play a significant role in future security guarantees, including through the multinational forces deployed in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that during the meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing” , all participants agreed that the borders of states should not be changed by force<\/a> .<\/p>\n
