As part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, 12 children who had been under occupation for years were returned to Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by<\/a> the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.<\/p>\n

It is noted that the returned children were subjected to pressure and persecution by the occupation.<\/p>\n

“The occupiers broke into their homes and searched them, forced them to attend Russian schools and apply for Russian passports, and threatened them with forced conscription or separation from their parents,” Yarmak said.<\/p>\n

It is known that some of the children witnessed the brutal torture of their relatives or faced humiliation and fear themselves on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

“Today, these children are finally safe in free Ukraine. They are undergoing rehabilitation, receiving psychological assistance, restoring their documents, and can once again study and make plans for the future,” the head of the OP said.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that on August 14 , a teenager who was constantly under the supervision of Russian military personnel was returned from the occupied part of Ukraine<\/a> .<\/p>\n

We will remind, earlier, as part of the initiative of the President of Ukraine Bring Kids Back UA , another group of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories was saved.<\/a><\/p>\n
