Over the past 24 hours, 186 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on August 19.<\/p>\n

According to updated information, yesterday the invaders launched two missile and 78 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, used four missiles and dropped 162 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 5,489 kamikaze drones to strike and carried out 5,350 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including 86 from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Hirky in Sumy region; Polyushkyne, Karabany in Chernihiv region; Prymorske, Novoandreyevka in Zaporizhia region; and Antonivka in Kherson region.<\/p>\n

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck four areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, four artillery pieces, and two enemy command posts.<\/p>\n

Seven clashes took place in the North Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions over the past day. The enemy carried out 15 air strikes, dropped 18 guided bombs, and carried out 198 artillery attacks, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units ten times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Kamyanka, and Ambarne.<\/p>\n

Ten attacks by the invaders took place in the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction in a day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults in the areas of Golubivka, Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Moskovka, and Zagryzove.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked 26 times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Ridkodub, Hrekivka, Dibrova, Karpivka, Myrne and towards the settlements of Stepove, Cherneshchyna, Drobysheve, Yampil.<\/p>\n

In the Siversky<\/strong> direction, in the areas of Hryhorivka, Serebryanka, and Viymka, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops four times.
In the Kramatorsk direction, four clashes were recorded in the areas of Bila Hora and Chasovy Yar.<\/p>\n

In the Toretsk<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Poltavka, Rusyn Yar, Toretsk, and towards the settlement of Berestok.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 67 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Dorozhne, Fedorivka, Nykanorivka, Mayak, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Chervonyi Lyman, Promin, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, Chunyshyne, Volodymyrivka, Dachne, Lysivka and towards the settlement of Balahan.<\/p>\n

In the Novopavlivske<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked our positions 29 times in the areas of the settlements of Zirka, Vilne Pole, Voskresenka, Shevchenko, Novodarivka, Olhivske, Novopil, Zelene Pole, Maliivka, Shevchenko and in the direction of Oleksandrograd and Komyshuvakha.<\/p>\n

The enemy did not conduct any assault operations in the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction during the past day.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Kamyanske and Novoandreyevka.<\/p>\n

Seven clashes took place in the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, the enemy tried to advance towards the Antonivskyi Bridge, the settlement of Dniprovske, and in the area of Bilogruy Island.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n
