Enemy Shahed-type strike drones have undergone another modernization – some of the recently shot down drones were found to have installed video cameras.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by Ukrainian specialist in military radio technologies Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov.<\/p>\n

According to him, similar video modules were previously mass-installed on reconnaissance drones of the Gerber type, but now they are increasingly being recorded on Shaheds, which are designed to strike ground targets.<\/p>\n

“We have already seen dozens of these cameras on reconnaissance aircraft. Now they are also appearing on attack UAVs,” the expert noted.<\/p>\n

It is not yet known exactly how the enemy uses these video cameras during combat missions. But experts suggest that this is an attempt to obtain a video image of the drone’s route and target immediately before the attack. This may indicate an improvement in the guidance system or real-time adjustment of strikes.<\/p>\n

Recall that a new modification of the Russian V2U drone, which works with artificial intelligence<\/a> , was spotted at the front. This type of UAV has begun to be used massively in all directions in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

As reported, Ukrainians began to hear a new eerie sound in the night sky – it is about jet versions of Shahed kamikaze drones<\/a> . This was the enemy’s response to the successes of Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones. So far, the attacks are not massive, but the emergence of a new type of drone may change the nature of threats from the air in the coming months.<\/p>\n
