On the night of August 20, Russian troops launched a massive air attack on Ukraine, using two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 93 attack drones. Defense forces neutralized 63 aerial targets.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ukrainian Air Force reported<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

According to the military, the missiles were launched from Crimea, and the drones from the territory of the Bryansk, Kursk and Rostov regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from occupied Crimea. Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups and drone systems were involved in repelling the attack.<\/p>\n

In the morning, air defense forces destroyed or suppressed one Iskander-M and 62 drones, mainly over the northern and eastern regions. At the same time, hits were recorded in 20 populated areas.<\/p>\n

As a result of the night shelling of Akhtyrka in the Sumy region, 12 people were injured, including two children.<\/p>\n
