Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has spoken out against holding talks between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in Hungary.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote<\/a> about this on the social network X.<\/p>\n

Earlier, media reported<\/a> that the United States is considering Hungary as a possible venue for the Zelensky-Putin summit. The Polish Prime Minister believes that holding the talks in Budapest, where the Budapest Memorandum was previously signed, would be a “historical irony.”<\/p>\n

“Budapest? Not everyone may remember this, but in 1994, Ukraine already received guarantees of territorial integrity from the US, Russia and Great Britain. In Budapest. Maybe I’m superstitious, but this time I would try to find a different place,” Tusk said. <\/p>\n
