On the night of August 21, Lviv suffered a serious blow from Russian forces – drones and missiles were fired at the city, resulting in one person being killed, two injured, and dozens of residential buildings being destroyed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi and Head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.<\/p>\n

The mayor described the night as “loud”: the attack targeted Olena Stepanivna Street. Roofs and windows were damaged, houses were covered in cracks, and debris spread across the street. Local services and rescuers worked quickly, checking for possible fires in other areas of the city.<\/p>\n

The head of the regional state administration specified: one person died, two others were injured. All are currently receiving medical assistance.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Russians attacked other western regions of Ukraine. In Transcarpathia, in Mukachevo, a missile strike was launched at night on an industrial facility, causing a fire. According to the city council, there were no injuries, but residents were asked to stay in shelters and limit their time outdoors as much as possible.<\/p>\n

Also in the city of Zaporizhzhia, two strikes on industrial infrastructure were recorded – the blast wave damaged several residential buildings nearby. A series of explosions were heard in Lutsk, and explosions can also be heard in Lviv – according to recent reports from the region.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of August 20 , Russian drones attacked the town of Okhtyrka in Sumy Oblast<\/a> . At least 12 civilians were injured in the strike, including two children.<\/p>\n

As reported, Russian troops attacked an educational institution in the Synelnyky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones.<\/a><\/p>\n
