Journalists managed to peek inside one of the Fire Point factories and see Ukrainian long-range Flamingo missiles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is noted that Fire Point has publicly shown for the first time the cruise missile they are developing, which is capable of covering a distance of 3,000 kilometers. It is expected to be in mass production by the end of the year or early 2026.<\/p>\n

“Air combat is our only real asymmetric advantage on the battlefield at the moment. We don’t have as many human resources or money as they do,” said Iryna Terek, Fire Point’s production manager.<\/p>\n

It also became known why the name “Flamingo” was chosen. The first versions of the rocket came out pink due to a factory error, so the rocket was initially called “Flamingo” – and this name stuck.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that successful tests of the Ukrainian Flamingo missile have already taken place, and its mass production is set to begin early next year<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Earlier it became known that Ukraine received at its disposal a new generation cruise missile called \u201cFlamingo\u201d<\/a> . Its range is 3,000 km, and the warhead weighs one ton \u2014 this is twice as powerful as the American Tomahawk.<\/p>\n
