US President Donald Trump has sharply criticized his predecessor Joe Biden for his restrictive policy towards Ukraine. According to Trump, Washington’s refusal to allow Kyiv to strike at Russian territory deprived Ukraine of any chance of winning the war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote about this in Truth Social<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Trump said Biden made a strategic mistake by allowing Ukraine to defend itself but not allowing it to use American weapons to strike Russian territory. He said it was “very difficult, if not impossible, to win a war without attacking an aggressor country.”<\/p>\n

The American president emphasized that if he had been in power in 2022, the Russian invasion would not have happened at all.<\/p>\n

“Zero chance,” Trump said, emphasizing that the current situation is a direct result of the Biden administration’s restrictive policies.<\/p>\n

At the end of his address, Trump announced “interesting times ahead,” without specifying what he meant. His comment reignited a debate in the United States about whether Ukraine should be given the right to use Western weapons to strike targets inside Russia.<\/p>\n

At the same time, The Washington Post<\/a> reported that back in July, during a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump wondered why Kyiv was not striking Moscow. The newspaper wrote that the current American leader sees increasing pressure on the Kremlin as one of the key tools for changing the situation on the front.<\/p>\n
