Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has given the green light to the army’s plan to take control of Gaza City and defeat Hamas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We are at a crucial stage. Today I arrived at the Gaza Division to support the plan presented to me and the Minister of Defense: the capture of Gaza City and the destruction of Hamas,” Netanyahu said.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he gave a directive to “immediately begin negotiations” on the release of the hostages and the end of the war on terms favorable to Israel. At the same time, he emphasized that there are no plans to send a delegation to Doha or Qatar at this time.<\/p>\n

Netanyahu thanked military reservists and regular units for their readiness for action, emphasizing: “These two goals – the destruction of Hamas and the release of hostages – are inextricably linked.”<\/p>\n
