Ukraine has begun serial production of the new Flamingo cruise missile, a completely domestic development.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Irina Terekh, CEO and CTO of Fire Point, it took less than nine months to create the rocket.<\/p>\n

“Flamingo is a long-range cruise missile that can carry a 1,150 kg warhead and travel 3,000 km. It is entirely Ukrainian-made,” Terekh said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

She also clarified that the Flamingo is already being produced in series, and the monthly production volume could reach 200 units.<\/p>\n

Missile technology expert Hoffmann assessed the potential of the new weapon: according to him, 3-5 thousand such missiles are capable of destroying more than 25% of Russia’s economic production.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that successful tests of the Ukrainian Flamingo missile<\/a> have already been completed, and its mass production should begin early next year.<\/p>\n

Earlier it became known that Ukraine received a new generation cruise missile called “Flamingo”<\/a> . Its range is 3000 km, and the warhead weighs one ton – this is twice as powerful as the American Tomahawk. The missile is an analogue of the FP-5 from the Milanion Group, which is already ready to produce dozens of such weapons monthly.<\/p>\n
