On the night of August 23, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 49 Shahed attack drones and drone imitators. Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 36 hostile UAVs, but hits were recorded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.<\/p>\n

The attack was carried out in four directions and was repelled by electronic warfare units, drone systems and mobile fire teams. The main losses occurred in the north, east and center of the country.<\/p>\n

At the same time, 13 drones reached targets in seven locations in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, fires broke out due to strikes on the Pokrovsk community of the Sinelnykovsky district and Pavlograd. The region was also attacked by FPV drones, controlled aerial bombs and artillery.<\/p>\n

In Sumy Oblast, the occupiers struck Novoslobodskaya and Vorozhbyanskaya communities, where residential buildings and utility rooms were damaged. According to the State Emergency Service, all fires have already been extinguished.<\/p>\n
