In times of peace, the blue and yellow flag symbolized unity and independence, but with the outbreak of a full-scale war, its meaning became even deeper. At the front and in the rear, it became a symbol of fortitude, struggle, and faith in victory, and each raising of the flag over liberated Ukrainian cities became a sign of the restoration of justice and the return of statehood.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The raising of the Ukrainian flag in the de-occupied territories has become a powerful symbol of the restoration of state sovereignty and national unity. From Kherson to Luhansk, from Zmiyiny Island to Kyiv, the blue and yellow flag flutters on buildings, in parks and at memorial sites, reminding us of the struggle and victory.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Role of the Flag During the War in Ukraine<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Raising the blue and yellow flag in the de-occupied territories has become not only a military but also a moral act. The flag has become a unifying symbol for the nation, reminding us of common goals and invincibility of spirit.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Raising the flag during deoccupation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kherson: November 14, 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On November 14, 2022, a solemn ceremony of raising the Ukrainian flag on the central square of the city <a href=\"https:\/\/www.president.gov.ua\/news\/volodimir-zelenskij-uzyav-uchast-u-pidnyatti-derzhavnogo-pra-79113\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">took place<\/a> in Kherson.
