The Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped the breakthrough of the Russian occupiers in the Donetsk region, preventing the enemy from advancing towards the Dnipropetrovsk region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate.<\/span><\/p>\n

“In a joint operation, units of the Russian Volunteer Corps and “Brotherhood” from the “Timur Special Unit” of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with soldiers of the 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, successfully stopped an enemy breakthrough attempt in the Donetsk region,” the report says.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noted that in this way it was possible to prevent the Russians from advancing towards the Dnipropetrovsk region.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, during assault operations and clearing operations, the fighters captured 16 Russian servicemen.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAmong them are the \u201cstandard bearers\u201d who were supposed to film fake news about the \u201ccapture\u201d of Ukrainian settlements, in particular the village of Andriyivka-Klevtsove,\u201d the GUR explained.<\/span><\/p>\n
