On the night of August 24, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces used long-range drones to strike an infrastructure facility on the territory of the Russian sea terminal “Ust-Luga” in the Leningrad Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced<\/span><\/a> by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is previously known that the drones managed to hit a gas condensate fractionation and transshipment facility. It is noted that the facility’s capacity is up to 6.9 million tons of raw materials per year.<\/span><\/p>\n

The General Staff emphasized that the Ust-Luga terminal is an important logistics hub for the Russian Federation in the Baltic Sea. The Kremlin actively uses it to export energy resources with the involvement of a “shadow fleet” to circumvent international sanctions.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, units of the Defense Forces carried out fire damage to a number of logistics facilities in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions. The corresponding facilities ensure the functioning and combat supply of the military units of the occupiers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The results of the lesions are currently being clarified.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on January 4, 2025 , drones attacked the Russian Federation’s second-largest commercial sea port after Novorossiysk<\/a> , Ust-Luga, in the Leningrad Region.<\/p>\n

By the way, on Saturday, August 23, drones attacked the Leningrad Region<\/a> , as a result of which Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg temporarily ceased operations.<\/p>\n
