Fighters of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Third Army Corps, as a result of a successful offensive operation, knocked out the occupiers from Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region and regained control over the settlement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> the press service of the Ministry of Defense.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to intelligence, the Russians there suffered significant losses \u2014 about a company of personnel, so they transferred reserves from other parts of the front.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Thanks to the coordinated work of intelligence, attack aircraft, heavy equipment, and UAVs, Ukrainian units improved their tactical position and strengthened the defense of the strip in the direction,” the report says.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, Novomykhailivka is fully under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and has already been cleared of Russian occupiers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other details will come later, the GUR promised.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, the Defense Forces successfully counterattacked and cleared a number of settlements in the Donetsk region from Russian occupiers<\/a> – Mykhailivka, Zeleny Hai, Volodymyrivka.<\/span><\/p>\n
