The United States has confirmed that it does not plan to deploy military personnel to Ukraine under the framework of security guarantees.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by US Vice President J.D. Vance,<\/span> Ukrinform reports<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe President (US, Donald Trump \u2013 ed.) has been very clear. There will be no (American \u2013 ed.) troops on the territory of Ukraine, but we will continue to play an active role, trying to provide the Ukrainians with the security guarantees and confidence they need to end the war on their side, and the Russians with the sense that they can end the war on theirs,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Vance emphasized that there can be no question of security guarantees until the war is over.<\/p>\n

In addition, the US Vice President commented on statements by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who claimed that the Russian Federation should allegedly be included in security guarantees for Ukraine.<\/p>\n

He noted that the Kremlin will participate in negotiations to end the war and, therefore, will have an interest in security guarantees.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, they will have some interest in this; they will talk about it,\u201d Vance said.<\/p>\n

However, he added that this does not mean that Russian forces will be deployed in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, following the results of the last meeting, the “Coalition of the Willing” stated that it is ready to deploy support forces in Ukraine<\/a> after the cessation of hostilities.<\/p>\n

By the way, the head of the UK Ministry of Defense, John Healy, during the meeting between the American and Russian leaders, stated that London is ready to send its military to Ukraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n
