Ukraine has again been hit by a powerful magnetic storm, which can negatively affect people’s well-being. It is accompanied by solar flares and high activity on the surface of the Sun.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is evidenced by Meteoagent<\/a> data.<\/p>\n

It is noted that a new wave of magnetic storms has been recorded in Ukraine, which began on August 18. Its intensity reached six points, after which the activity decreased slightly, but on August 24 the geomagnetic storm regained its strength. According to forecasts, on August 25-26 it will remain at the level of four points, which may cause discomfort to sensitive people.<\/p>\n

It is known that at least ten C and M class solar flares have been recorded over the past 24 hours, and the probability of new powerful M class flares remains high \u2013 about 45%. Although the probability of the most dangerous X class flares is currently only 5%, the Sun is active with the presence of 19 spots.<\/p>\n

Magnetic storms affect the human body, causing headaches, dizziness, increased blood pressure, weakness, and exacerbation of chronic diseases. Doctors advise following a healthy lifestyle during this period: avoid fatty and spicy foods, limit coffee and alcohol, spend more time outdoors, and provide the body with enough water and rest.<\/p>\n

According to the Space Weather Prediction Center (NOAA SWPC), no significant magnetic storms are expected in the coming days. Thus, on August 25, the K-index is forecast to be 3 (weak activity), on August 26 – 3.7 (medium level), and on August 27 – a decrease to 2.7 (weak fluctuations). This means that the geomagnetic situation will gradually stabilize from the middle of the week.<\/p>\n

Experts urge Ukrainians to carefully monitor their own well-being and, if necessary, consult doctors, because even minor storms can negatively affect the health of weather-sensitive people.<\/p>\n

To reduce the impact of magnetic storms on the body, doctors advise following a few simple rules. During these days, it is advisable to avoid overwork and severe stress, rest more and get enough sleep. It is worth drinking enough water, limiting coffee, alcohol and strong tea, and instead giving preference to herbal drinks and light food – vegetables, fruits, fish.<\/p>\n

It is also useful to be outdoors more often, ventilate the room, and go for walks. People with chronic diseases should have the necessary medications on hand and listen to their well-being. <\/p>\n
