A modern rehabilitation center using the latest international technologies for servicemen who have lost limbs will be opened in Kyiv. This will simplify and speed up the process of prosthetics for our defenders.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The leader of “European Solidarity” in the Kyiv City Council, Head of the standing committee on health care, family and social policy Maryna Poroshenko said this on the air of the ” Pryamiy<\/strong> ” TV channel.<\/p>\n

“As the Chairman of the Commission, I understand all these issues very keenly, I see both the needs and how to solve them. And that is why I came to our faction with a proposal, and I am very grateful to all our deputies of “European Solidarity” that they supported me with this proposal to raise funds to create a rehabilitation center for military personnel.”<\/p>\n

“This is a separate four-story building on the hospital grounds. It will contain the most modern rehabilitation equipment and German equipment for prosthetics,” said Maryna Poroshenko.<\/p>\n

“It is very important that we now implement such modern technologies in Ukraine as much as possible, because the process of prosthetics is long. And sending abroad for prosthetics is very complicated by travel and the need to do fittings, development, adjustment for each individual person. Of course, it is much more convenient to do this when these specialists come to us in Ukraine and leave for us in Ukraine, and these technologies will come to us in Ukraine and. and the defenders felt that they are cared for,” the chairperson of the commission emphasized.<\/p>\n

“We resolved this issue in such a way that funds for the repair of the building were allocated from the city budget, for the purchase of equipment for the prosthetic laboratory – these were funds from deputies from the European Solidarity faction. For the purchase of equipment for the rehabilitation center, and in general for the filling inside this rehabilitation center, i.e. nursing, i.e. all the equipment – this is at the expense of the Poroshenko Charitable Foundation. We have already purchased this equipment, and I hope that in September, that is, in a week or two, we will begin to install this equipment.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Maryna Poroshenko stated that the withdrawal of UAH 8 billion from the Kyiv city budget is illegal and unacceptable<\/a> . The capital, in particular, spends significant resources on social programs, provides non-repayable financial assistance to medical workers of local health care institutions. <\/p>\n
