Olena Shulyak, the head of the parliamentary committee on the organization of state power and urban development, reported that on September 10, the updated “eOselya” program will start in Ukraine, which is designed to provide real support to internally displaced persons and residents of frontline territories.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is noted that the updated “eOselya” program is focused on internally displaced persons (IDPs) and residents of frontline areas. Its main goal is to provide citizens with housing, especially those who have lost their homes or are forced to live in difficult conditions due to military operations. It is this category of citizens who are most in need of state support today.<\/p>\n

A key change in the program is the full state coverage of start-up costs, which previously were a significant obstacle for many immigrants. Now the state will compensate up to 70% of the first mortgage payment<\/strong> , fully pay all monthly payments during the first year, as well as the costs of mortgage registration, including pension contributions and notary services. The average amount of compensation will be up to 2 million hryvnias, which allows you to purchase an apartment not only in large cities, but also in many regions of the country.<\/p>\n

For frontline communities, the opportunity to obtain their own housing not only provides a roof over their heads, but also creates a sense of stability and security.<\/p>\n

“$50,000 is a chance to buy a home, not necessarily in the capital. It’s an opportunity to create a safe space for the family,” Shulyak emphasized.<\/p>\n

The program also involves engaging veterans and specialists to provide consultations to displaced persons and residents of frontline areas. This connection of experts helps to better orient people in the complex process of obtaining housing and mortgages.<\/p>\n

According to Shulyak, the launch of e-Housing is a logical continuation of state recovery initiatives, such as the e-Recovery program. She emphasized that during previous programs, it was often found that people did not even have basic resources to complete documents.<\/p>\n
