Ukraine will take part in the 70th Eurovision Song Contest. The upcoming anniversary show will be held in Vienna, Austria.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“For Ukraine, this is an opportunity to sound even louder and once again confirm our strength and the uniqueness of our musical DNA. Considering the challenges posed by the last competition, we want to prove that, first of all, Ukraine amazes with cool artists who write European-level music, set trends, and convey the high level of nations. Incomparably difficult war conditions. The anniversary competition, which will attract the world’s attention, is the best opportunity for this,” said Oksana Skibinska, head of the Ukrainian delegation to Eurovision.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that the 70th anniversary Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Austria. Vienna has been chosen as the host city for the contest<\/a> . The semi-finals will be held on May 12 and 14, and the grand final will be held on May 16, 2026, at the Wiener Stadthalle, the largest indoor arena in Austria.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that in 2025 the Eurovision Song Contest was won by the representative of Austria \u2013 JJ with the song Wasted Love<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Ukraine was represented at Eurovision 2025 by the band Ziferblat with the song Bird of Pray – they took 9th place. With their performance, the band cemented Ukraine’s status as the only country in the history of the contest that has made it to the final every year since its first participation in 2003.<\/p>\n
