US President Donald Trump said that he discussed the possibility of nuclear disarmament during talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, the Russian leader allegedly expressed a willingness to move in this direction, and China may also join the process.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trump stated<\/a> this during a conversation with reporters at the White House, CNN reports.<\/p>\n

Trump stressed that the issue of denuclearization is one of the key issues in his negotiations with Putin, and that the spread of nuclear weapons must be stopped.<\/p>\n

“One of the things we’re trying to do with Russia and China is denuclearization. It’s very important. I discussed it with President Putin, and not only that,” Trump said.<\/p>\n

He also added that he considers disarmament “a very big game,” and expressed confidence that China may also be willing to engage in such a process.<\/p>\n

“We cannot allow nuclear weapons to spread. We must stop nuclear weapons,” the politician concluded.<\/p>\n
