The head of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine and MP Mykhailo Volynets reported that dozens of lives were at risk as a result of another attack by Russian troops on the Donetsk region. After the shelling of the Dobropil community, the mines, where 148 miners were at the time of the attack, were cut off from power.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is noted that after Russian troops hit a 110-kilowatt substation, the mines were left without electricity. This creates critical risks of gas contamination and flooding of the mine workings, which directly threatens the lives of miners.<\/p>\n

“As a result of Russian shelling, the mines of the Dobropil community were cut off. 148 miners remain underground,” said Volynets.<\/p>\n

The previous day, there were reports of massive shelling hitting Dobropillya, Bilozerske, Hannivka, Iverske, and Svyatohorivka. According to local media, at least four aerial bombs were dropped on the city, leading to power outages.<\/p>\n

At around 09:10, a drone strike was recorded on a residential building in Iverske. It is previously known that at least two people died as a result of a strike on a mine in Belozerske.<\/p>\n

The situation remains extremely tense. The Air Force has warned of new attacks with guided bombs on the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Local authorities are clarifying the figures on the dead and injured.<\/p>\n
