Over the past 24 hours, 173 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on August 27.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy launched 2 missile and 64 air strikes, used two missiles and dropped 109 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,625 attacks, including 21 from multiple rocket launcher systems, and engaged 3,891 kamikaze drones to destroy them.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Stara Huta in Sumy region; Bilogirya, Preobrazhenka in Zaporizhia region; and Antonivka in Kherson region.<\/p>\n

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, three artillery systems, and one other important enemy facility.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, Ukrainian units repelled 15 attacks by the invaders. The enemy also launched 3 airstrikes, dropping five anti-aircraft missiles, and carried out 201 attacks, including one from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian defenders four times near Glyboky, Volchansk, Krasny Pershy and towards Doroshivka. They were repulsed.<\/p>\n

Eight clashes took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders stopped the enemy’s assault actions in the direction of the settlements of Kupyansk and Nova Kruglyakivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 34 times. He tried to penetrate our defenses near the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Karpivka, Kolodyazi, Myrne, Torske and towards the settlements of Olhivka, Shandryholove, Stavky, Dronivka and Serebryanka.<\/p>\n

In the Siverskyi direction, the Defense Forces stopped nine offensive actions of the invaders in the area of Hryhorivka and towards Serebryanka, Viyimka, and Fedorivka.<\/p>\n

Six clashes were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction yesterday, with the occupier trying to advance towards Stupochky.<\/p>\n

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out eight attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalynovoy and in the direction of the settlements of Berestok, Stepanivka, and Poltavka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 44 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Novoekonomichne, Myrolyubivka, Promyn, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoukrainka and in the direction of Volodymyrivka, Rubizhne, Bilytskyi, Rodynskyi, Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Filiya.<\/p>\n

In the Novopavlivske direction, the enemy yesterday carried out 23 attacks near the settlements of Zeleny Hai, Shevchenko, Voskresenka, Komyshuvakha, Novogeorgiyevka and in the direction of Filia, Iskra, and Oleksandrograd.<\/p>\n

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil and Orikhiv directions in the past day.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper direction, the aggressor’s troops made three futile attempts to advance on the positions of our units.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of offensive groups of the aggressor were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.<\/p>\n
