Minneapolis struck by tragedy: during prayers at a Catholic Church, a gunman opened fire on students and worshipers, killing two children aged 8 and 10 and injuring at least 17 others.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The incident occurred on the morning of August 27 at around 8:30 a.m. local time, during a church service marking the beginning of the school year. According to law enforcement, the attacker planned the crime: he barricaded a side door to prevent people from escaping, then approached the building and began shooting through the windows.<\/p>\n

The man was armed with multiple weapons, including a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol. The attack resulted in the deaths of two children and injuries to 17 others, including 14 children.<\/p>\n

Eleven people were hospitalized in Minneapolis, including nine children aged 6 to 14 and two adults. Several of the injured are in critical condition, with four children requiring emergency surgery.<\/p>\n

The attacker, initially estimated to be in his 20s, was found dead from a gunshot wound. Police believe he took his own life. A smoke bomb was also discovered at the scene. The motive for the attack has not yet been determined.<\/p>\n
