Another terrible night hit Kyiv as a couple of dozen Shahed drones approached the city. Most were shot down nearby, while loud air defense explosions rattled the capital.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are all awake now, glued to social media, which is full of horrifying footage: fires, destroyed civilian homes, people screaming for help under concrete slabs. Exhausted rescuers are once again clearing the rubble. This nightmare has been going on for 11 years, and for the past three and a half years, there has been no truly safe place in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\u201cKellogg has left\u2026\u201d \u2014 the most common \u201cjoke\u201d on social media. \u201cLet\u2019s buy him an apartment in Kyiv.\u201d But what about Kharkiv, Kherson, Dnipro, Sumy, Odesa, Chernihiv, Kramatorsk, Slovyansk, Zaporizhia, and Mykolaiv, where high-ranking visitors arrive far less often than in Kyiv, or hardly ever?<\/p>\n

How much longer will this genocide and killing of Ukrainians continue? And how much longer must we endure? Yet endure we must.<\/p>\n\t\t
