United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is closing down.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He<\/span> wrote<\/span><\/a> about this on the social network X.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rubio noted that USAID is being closed after some of its core programs were transferred to the State Department.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, Russell Voth, will oversee the agency’s liquidation process.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the Secretary of State assured, since January 2025, it has been possible to save \u201ctens of billions of dollars\u201d for American taxpayers.<\/span><\/p>\n
