The murder of Andriy Parubiy is a shot in the heart of Ukraine. The fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote about this on social networks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Unfortunately, this is true. My long-time comrade in arms since the early 2000s, Andriy Parubiy’s brothers, were shot by monsters in Lviv. What can be said for sure is that these monsters are afraid and because of this they kill real patriots and strong people. Maidan, 11 years of war, a huge contribution to the system. And they take revenge, this is what they are afraid of,” Poroshenko writes.<\/p>\n\t

“This crime is not just shooting at a person. It is a shot at the Army. It is a shot at the Language. It is a shot at Faith. It is a shot at the heart of Ukraine,” the fifth President notes.<\/p>\n

“Andriy did everything possible to create a Ukrainian army. Especially when it was still about the first volunteer battalions that went to the front straight from the Maidan. Andriy played a decisive role in the adoption of the law on the Ukrainian language, which became a historic step in strengthening our identity. And during the struggle for the Tomos for the Head of the Church, he felt it,” Poroshenko recalled.<\/p>\n\t

“But the enemy will never be able to kill the ideals for which Andriy Parubiy lived and fought. We went through the Maidan together, survived the hardest years of the war, and established Ukrainian statehood. His courage, sacrifice, and devotion to Ukraine will remain forever in the hearts of millions,” writes Petro Poroshenko.<\/p>\n

“I express my most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones. Ukraine has lost a great son, but his work will live as long as our state lives. This is an act of terror, and it is a matter of honor for the special services and law enforcement to find and punish the guilty and those involved. Eternal memory and eternal glory to Andriy Pamiriy.”<\/p>\n\t

Let us recall that on August 30 , public and political figure Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv<\/a> .<\/p>\n

It later became known that a shooter who killed the current member of parliament from European Solidarity and former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy is being sought in the Lviv region<\/a> . A photo of the alleged killer is being published online.<\/p>\n

Later, journalists reported that deputy Andriy Parubiy was shot 8 times by a man disguised as a courier.<\/a><\/p>\n
