The murder of MP and former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy was the work of the Russians. He was a true symbol of Ukrainian indomitability and struggle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by Mykola Kniazhytsky, a member of parliament from the European Solidarity faction, on the air of the Pryamy TV channel.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is obvious that this is the work of the Russians \u2013 I have no doubt about it. Firstly, for the purpose of revenge, secondly, for the purpose of intimidating Ukrainians, and thirdly, so that the Ukrainian nation does not have a sufficient number of strong leaders,\u201d the deputy emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, people like Andriy Parubiy inspired him to fight because they fought themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI remember how we worked with him on the law on language. If it weren\u2019t for Andriy, it would have been very difficult to pass this law and adopt it. I remember how much he did for the adoption of the Tomos. I remember his truly heroic deeds when he was the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council during the Russian aggression. And before that, on the Maidan, when he led the Maidan Self-Defense,\u201d Knyazhytskyi noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

He assured that Parubiy was a symbol of Ukrainian invincibility \u2013 the most terrifying figure for Russians.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis was not the first attempt on his life. A grenade was once thrown at him near the Kyiv Hotel, the media wrote about it. It was after the Maidan. He was on all possible shooting lists, yet he did not have security. He had it a year after he was the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, then they took it away from him,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

The deputy added that removing Parubiy’s security was a mistake, as everyone knew he was under Russian surveillance.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe lived modestly. This is not a person who came into politics for the sake of business. He lived politics, he lived statehood,\u201d Kniazhytskyi assured.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us recall that on August 30 , public and political figure Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Later, it became known that the Lviv region is searching for the shooter who killed the current deputy from the “European Solidarity” party and former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy<\/a> . A photo of the alleged killer is being published on the Internet.<\/p>\n

Later, journalists reported that MP Andriy Parubiy was shot 8 times by a man disguised as a courier.<\/a><\/p>\n
