The FT drew attention to the masked perpetrator, who acted \u201ccarefully and planned,\u201d suggesting a possible Russian connection.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"1172\"><strong data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"897\">The Wall Street Journal<\/strong> described the murder as a \u201ccarefully prepared act\u201d and recalled Parubiy\u2019s key role in the 2014 Maidan. The mayor of Lviv emphasized that war leaves no \u201csafe places.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1550\">The death of Andriy Parubiy is not only a loss for Ukraine but also a signal to the world. As sources of \u201cPryamyi\u201d in law enforcement agencies report, the Russians have a whole list of people to eliminate, especially in patriotic circles.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Subsequently, the 52-year-old resident of Lviv was officially <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ubyvstvo-andriia-parubiia-zatrymanomu-povidomyly-pidozru\/\">declared a suspect<\/a>. It also became known that for a year, Russian special services <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/rosiyski-spetssluzhby-shantazhuvaly-pidozriuvanoho-u-vbyvstvi-andriia-parubiia\/\">blackmailed the detainee<\/a> with information about the whereabouts of his son, who is considered missing in action during the war.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>At the same time, the Security Service of Ukraine reported <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/do-zamakhu-na-andriia-parubiia-mozhut-buty-prychetni-spetssluzhby-rf-sbu\/\">the involvement of Russian special services<\/a> in organizing the assassination attempt on MP Andriy Parubiy.
