On the night of September 1-2, the Russian Federation carried out a large-scale air attack, launching 150 attack drones into Ukraine from five different directions. Most of them were neutralized by air defense forces, but the attack could not be completely repelled – 30 direct hits were recorded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram.<\/p>\n

According to the military, the enemy used Shahed-type strike drones, as well as other model drones. The attack was carried out from Russian territory – from the Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions, as well as from Chauda, which is in occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n

The air force, anti-aircraft missile systems, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and operators of Ukrainian defense unmanned systems were involved in repelling the attack.<\/p>\n

As a result of the coordinated actions of the defenders, at least 120 enemy drones were destroyed or suppressed in the northern, southern, eastern and central regions of the country.<\/p>\n

However, not all targets were intercepted – 30 hits were recorded on nine infrastructure facilities, as well as falling debris in five settlements.<\/p>\n
