On September 2, a court hearing was held in Lviv on the murder of MP Andriy Parubiy. At the hearing, the suspect publicly admitted his guilt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before the start of the session, during a conversation with journalists, the man stated that he committed the crime out of personal revenge against the Ukrainian authorities. According to him, there was no blackmail or pressure from Russia.<\/p>\n

He also expressed a desire to be exchanged because he wanted to find his son’s body. He chose Parubiy as the victim because he lived nearby.<\/p>\n

Today at 13:00 the court began considering the question of the measure of restraint for the suspect. He was taken to the guarded courtroom.<\/p>\n

Earlier it was reported that an evening of remembrance of the people’s deputy Andriy Parubiy began on Kiev’s Independence Square<\/a> . Hundreds of people, including public and political figures, gathered to honor the memory of the parliamentarian.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that on August 30 , public and political figure Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv<\/a> .<\/p>\n

It later became known that a shooter who killed the current member of parliament from European Solidarity and former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy is being sought in the Lviv region<\/a> . A photo of the alleged killer is being published online.<\/p>\n

Later, journalists reported that deputy Andriy Parubiy was shot 8 times by a man disguised as a courier.<\/a><\/p>\n
