The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released<\/a> an evening update on the battlefield situation as of 22:00 on September 2, detailing Russian offensive actions and the defense forces\u2019 response.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since the start of the day, there have been 122 combat clashes<\/strong>. Russian forces carried out 52 airstrikes<\/strong>, dropping 79 guided bombs<\/strong>. In addition, the enemy launched 1,922 kamikaze drones<\/strong> and conducted 3,344 attacks<\/strong> on Ukrainian positions and settlements.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions<\/strong>, Ukrainian defenders repelled four Russian assaults, with two clashes still ongoing. The enemy also launched four airstrikes, dropping 12 guided bombs, and carried out 136 artillery attacks, including three with multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South-Slobozhansk direction<\/strong>, Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks near Krasne Pershe and Vovchansk, while two more clashes continue.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk direction<\/strong>, Russian forces attempted six offensives near Kupyansk and Petropavlivka. One battle is still ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman direction<\/strong>, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times<\/strong> near Hrekivka, Karpivka, Kolodyazi, and towards Dronivka. Six clashes remain unresolved.<\/p>\n

In the Siverskyi direction<\/strong>, the Defense Forces repelled 12 assaults<\/strong> near Hryhorivka, Viymka, Serebryanka, and Fedorivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk direction<\/strong>, three clashes have been recorded so far, with Russian forces attempting to advance towards Stupochky and Predtechyne.<\/p>\n

In the Toretsk direction<\/strong>, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks<\/strong>. The main efforts of the occupiers were concentrated near Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, Yablunivka, and Poltavka. Three battles are still underway.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk direction<\/strong>, Russian troops tried 23 times<\/strong> to break through Ukrainian defenses near Mayak, Novo Shakhove, Vilne, Dachne, Novoekonomichne, Myrolyubivka, Myrnograd, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, and in the Pokrovsk area. Ukrainian forces inflicted heavy losses: 110 invaders neutralized<\/strong> (74 of them killed), and destroyed four motorcycles, 80 UAVs, three artillery pieces, and four UAV control points<\/strong>.
\nIn the Novopavlivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked seventeen times in the areas of the settlements of Ivanivka, Novokhatske, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Oleksandrograd, Burlatske, Sichneve,<\/p>\n

In the Shevchenko, Obratne, and Komyshuvakha areas<\/strong>, one enemy attack is still ongoing.<\/p>\n

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil<\/strong> and Orikhiv directions<\/strong> throughout the day.<\/p>\n

In the Prydniprovske direction<\/strong>, Russian forces launched three assaults towards Antonivka. All were successfully repelled by the Defense Forces. The settlement of Mykolaivka<\/strong> was hit by an airstrike.<\/p>\n

In other areas, the situation remained largely unchanged.<\/p>\n
