The parliament summoned the former head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Philip Pronin, and the current acting head of the OVA, Volodymyr Kohut, to provide explanations. The reason was suspicions of multi-million-dollar abuse of state funds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/yzheleznyak\/14083\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> People&#8217;s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.<\/p>\n<p> It is noted that the investigation, which is already in the focus of attention of law enforcement officers and deputies, has revealed serious violations. In particular, in 2024, the Poltava OVA spent 372 million hryvnias on the construction of fortifications in the Donetsk region. However, instead of full-fledged fortifications, only imitation structures that did not meet real defense requirements allegedly appeared there.<\/p>\n<p> According to the data provided, at least 200 million hryvnias disappeared through schemes with fictitious contracts, inflated prices, and &#8220;front&#8221; companies. Investigators already have documents, bank statements, and photo and audio evidence that confirm the scale of the scam.<\/p>\n<p> The fact that some companies that supplied &#8220;decorative&#8221; fortifications have already received new contracts worth billions of hryvnias from the state has also caused particular outrage. This calls into question the effectiveness of the state procurement system in the defense sector.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;We eventually lost the positions where real fortifications were supposed to be. This is one of the worst stories of corruption during the war,&#8221; Zheleznyak emphasized.<\/p>\n<p> It was previously reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/rozkradannia-na-fortyfikatsiiakh-donechchyny-iak-pronin-rozchynyv-u-skhemakh-200-mln-hryven-rozsliduvannia\/\">in 2024, the Poltava Regional Military Administration received almost 400 million hryvnias for the construction of fortifications in the Donetsk region<\/a> . However, instead of reliable protection for the military, only conditional structures appeared there &#8211; sticks, several pits and low-quality materials.
