Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga called Vladimir Putin’s proposal to organize talks with Volodymyr Zelensky in Moscow unacceptable. According to him, at least seven countries are already ready to host such a meeting, including Austria, the Vatican, Switzerland, Turkey, and the Gulf states.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote about this in X.<\/a><\/p>\n

As is known, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has stated his willingness to invite Volodymyr Zelenskyy to talks in Moscow. However, in Ukraine, such an initiative was immediately rejected.<\/p>\n

“These are serious proposals, and President Zelensky is ready for such a meeting at any time. However, Putin continues to play with everyone, making deliberately unacceptable proposals,” said Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.<\/p>\n

Sibiga also emphasized that at least seven countries in the world have expressed their willingness to host a meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and Russia. Among them are Austria, the Vatican, Switzerland, Turkey, and three Gulf countries.<\/p>\n

The Foreign Minister noted that the key factor in forcing the Kremlin to engage in real negotiations is international pressure: “Only increased pressure can force Putin to seriously consider a peaceful settlement.”<\/p>\n

The day before, during a long visit to China, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in detail about the war in Ukraine, the negotiation process, and future contacts with Zelensky and Trump.<\/a><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that US President Donald Trump is not sure whether a bilateral meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin at the leadership level will take place<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Recall, Trump said that within the next two weeks it will become clear whether peace can be achieved in Ukraine<\/a> . If this does not happen, he warned about the possibility of finding “another approach” to resolving the war.<\/p>\n
