After the Paris meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing,” 26 countries declared readiness to send troops or provide other forms of support to Ukraine. French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed that the mission, covering land, air, sea, and cyberspace, could involve up to 30,000 soldiers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As is known, on Thursday, September 4, a leadership-level meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing” was held in Paris, with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Following the meeting, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that 26 countries had committed to supporting Ukraine after the end of hostilities.<\/p>\n

“These 26 countries have agreed to send troops to Ukraine as a guarantee force or to be present on land, at sea, or in the air to support Ukrainian territory and Ukraine itself the day after a ceasefire or the establishment of peace,” the French president emphasized.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the mission does not imply participation in hostilities against Russia but is intended to serve as a strategic signal and prevent renewed aggression.<\/p>\n

According to Radio Liberty<\/a>, more than 30 countries are discussing specific support mechanisms. Ten<\/strong> of them are ready to send their soldiers to the territory of Ukraine after the end of hostilities, including the United Kingdom, France, the Baltic countries, the Nordic countries, the Netherlands, and Australia. Germany is still choosing a position, awaiting parliamentary approval, and Poland will act as a logistics hub.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The total strength of the European mission in Ukraine is expected to be around 25,000-30,000 soldiers<\/strong>, who can perform training missions, patrols, maritime surveillance, and air defense support. Turkey will provide security at sea, the United Kingdom and France on land, and a multinational contingent will be responsible for the air component.<\/p>\n

President Zelenskyy reported<\/a> that the meeting discussed in detail the contribution of each country to ensuring security on land, at sea, in the air, and in cyberspace. He noted that the main guarantee of security is a strong Ukrainian army, and thanked the United States and President Donald Trump for their readiness to provide support to Ukraine.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that after the meeting of the \u201cCoalition of the Willing\u201d, the United Kingdom and Germany announced increased support for Ukraine<\/a>. The leaders of both countries promised the supply of long-range missiles, expanded air defense, and additional armament for four new brigades, emphasizing the need to continue training the Ukrainian military and integrate the country into European security structures.<\/p>\n

It is worth adding that US President Donald Trump’s special representative, Steve Witkoff, unexpectedly left the \u00c9lys\u00e9e Palace<\/a>, where a meeting of the countries of the so-called “coalition of the determined” in support of Ukraine is underway today.<\/p>\n
