Law enforcement officers prevented a possible attack at a school in the Transcarpathian region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.<\/p>\n

According to him, a 15-year-old boy was detained near an educational institution while he was carrying a knife in his backpack.<\/p>\n

At the time of his arrest, the teenager was already live-streaming on one of the streaming platforms, and had previously posted disturbing posts on social media about his intentions.<\/p>\n

The incident was prevented thanks to information exchange with British law enforcement. The operation involved cyber specialists, criminal police operatives, and teams that reinforced school security.<\/p>\n

“As a result, the attack was stopped. Children and teachers are safe,” Klymenko noted.<\/p>\n

Investigations are currently underway. According to preliminary information, the boy planned to commit an armed attack on students with subsequent broadcasting on social networks.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, a bloody tragedy occurred in Minneapolis – during prayer in a Catholic church, an armed man opened fire on students and worshipers<\/a> . Two children, ages 8 and 10, were killed, and at least 17 others were injured.<\/p>\n
