Ukraine managed to return 29 more children from the temporarily occupied territories who had survived oppression, coercion, and the imposition of Russian propaganda.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced<\/span><\/a> by the founder of the Save Ukraine charitable organization Mykola Kuleba.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the rescued children were 4-year-old Yulia and 9-year-old Eva, who were orphaned after their mother died suddenly. When the children’s relatives wanted to take custody of them, the occupation authorities invented a reason to delay and take the children to a boarding school.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two more children \u2014 9-year-old Yarinka and 13-year-old Makar \u2014 experienced \u201cRussian education methods\u201d: the daily anthem of the Russian Federation, drawings, and letters to the Russian military.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSoldiers came to the children\u2019s lessons, showed them their weapons and drones. The children could not refuse all this, because the parents were threatened with removing the children to a boarding school. However, the family still had to endure humiliation: when the parents were handed Russian passports, they were forced to recite the oath on camera,\u201d Kuleba said.<\/span><\/p>\n

David, 17, who was drafted into the military, and his younger sister were also forced to go to a Russian school, where they were forced to participate in a war game. When their mother refused to let them go to the event, she was publicly humiliated at parent-teacher meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cToday, they are all undergoing rehabilitation in our centers: we help with documents, psychological support, and basic humanitarian assistance. Thanks to Save Ukraine, more than 800 children have already received a chance for a future in a free country \u2014 and we are not stopping,\u201d the founder of the organization concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier , another group of children from the temporarily occupied Kherson region was returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine<\/a> .<\/p>\n

We remind you that three children were returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories, as well as a young man<\/a> who was illegally taken to the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n
