Russian occupation forces began to actively shell the Sloviansk-Izyum highway, which leads from the Donetsk region to the Kharkiv region.<\/span><\/p>\n

This was reported by the spokesman for the Dnipro Regional State Administrative Organization, Oleksiy Belsky.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact that they are attacking a civilian highway is not surprising, because they are not adhering to international humanitarian law,\u201d he stressed.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, according to him, this does not threaten Sloviansk, because there are five logistical routes near the city that are used to deliver ammunition, food, and water.<\/span><\/p>\n

Belsky added that it then goes to the East and South for Ukrainian defenders.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Russian army is trying to bypass Siversk from the direction of Serebryansk Forestry<\/a> in order to take out Slavyansk with artillery.<\/p>\n
