Margarita Simonyan, Kremlin propagandist and editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and the RT television channel, has been diagnosed with cancer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> in The Moscow Times.<\/span><\/p>\n

As noted, Simonyan spoke about the illness on the air of the program \u201cEvening with Vladimir Solovyov,\u201d noting that doctors diagnosed her with a \u201cterrible, serious\u201d illness.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I decided that I had to go on air today and tell the truth, because it’s always better to tell it myself than to let people be guided by rumors,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the publication’s sources, the propagandist was diagnosed with cancer. Simonyan herself hinted at a surgical operation to remove the breast, but did not specifically name the disease that the doctors diagnosed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The issue of continuing her work at RT is currently being considered, including the option of her dismissal.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that former US President Joe Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.<\/a><\/p>\n
