US President Donald Trump has issued a strong statement regarding the murder of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte, North Carolina.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote about this in Truth Social<\/a> .<\/p>\n

“The animal that so brutally killed a beautiful young lady from Ukraine, who came to America in search of peace and safety, should be given a “speedy” (no doubt!) trial, and only the death penalty should be imposed. There can be no other option!!”, Donald Trump emphasized.<\/p>\n

The President also confirmed that he had already given instructions to look into the matter and promised to provide details in the near future.<\/p>\n

It is worth recalling that 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska, who fled the war in Ukraine and settled in the United States, hoping to find safety and a new life. On August 22, 2025, she was the victim of an attack on a train in Charlotte.
