In Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, over 95% of buildings have been destroyed or damaged, and delivering humanitarian aid is currently impossible due to ongoing Russian drone activity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The head of the Kupyansk MBA, Andrey Besedin, spoke about this on the air<\/a> of Suspilne Radio.<\/p>\n

According to him, Russian forces are using all available weapons in the city, while FPV drones lie in wait along approaches to Kupyansk, targeting logistics routes. This makes it extremely difficult to evacuate residents or deliver humanitarian aid. Repairing gas, electricity, or water supply systems is also impossible.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, there are no improvements \u2014 the situation is critical. The enemy\u2019s proximity and the use of various weapons, including FPV drones positioned along all logistics routes and city approaches, prevent not only full evacuation efforts but also the delivery of humanitarian aid or the repair of critical infrastructure. More than 95% of the city is destroyed or damaged,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In just the first nine days of September, Russian forces carried out 1,100 strikes on settlements in the Kupyansk community. Among these, 36 guided aerial bombs were launched, including two weighing one and a half tons. Three residents were killed and 13 were injured. On September 9 alone, four KABs targeted Kupyansk, injuring one person, according to the city\u2019s military administration head.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only thing that can save lives is evacuation,\u201d Besedin emphasized.<\/p>\n
