According to gas station owners, some refineries have not supplied AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline for several weeks in a row.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cInitially, the problem of fuel shortage was local in nature, but now we can say that the geography is expanding: more and more regions of Russia are facing a shortage,\u201d said Dmitry Tortev, a member of the expert council of the State Duma\u2019s competition protection committee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a result of the attacks that continued throughout August, Russia lost 17% of its oil refining capacity, and a number of plants completely stopped production. Also in September, the Ryazan refinery, which provides about 5% of all oil refining in the country, partially stopped.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This has led to a rise in gasoline prices: they have increased by 40-50% since the beginning of the year.
