President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian units completely thwarted the offensive operation of the Russian occupiers on Sumy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He stated<\/span><\/a> this<\/span> following the results of the Stavka.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, fighting is taking place in the border regions of Sumy Oblast. However, due to significant losses, the Russian group there has lost the ability to advance.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are results in the Sumy region: as of today, we can state that the Russian offensive operation on Sumy has been completely thwarted,\u201d the president wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the Ukrainian military continues to counter the enemy’s assault activity in the Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Russian occupation forces have reduced their activity on the front line in the Sumy region<\/a> , however, the enemy continues to operate there in small infantry groups.<\/p>\n

Instead, the Russian command has set a new operational goal<\/a> – during the fall, the occupation forces will try to capture Pokrovsk, Myrnograd, and Dobropillya in the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n
