On the evening of September 13, Poland again took to the skies due to the activity of Russian strike drones in Western Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> the Operational Command of the Polish Army.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, it is known that Polish and allied aircraft were raised into the airspace. Ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems were also put on high alert.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThese actions are preventive in nature and are aimed at ensuring airspace security and protecting citizens, especially in areas adjacent to the threat zone,\u201d the report says.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition,<\/span> according to<\/span><\/a> the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency, due to military aviation activities, Lublin Airport and the surrounding controlled area were closed to flights.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of September 9-10, the situation in Eastern Europe escalated again – Russia launched a massive strike on the territory of Ukraine, while a number of enemy drones crossed the air border of Poland<\/a> . This forced Warsaw to activate air defense forces and engage aviation.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that 19 Russian drones violated Polish airspace<\/a> . Polish air defense forces were able to eliminate only four of them. It should be added that later , in addition to the seven drones, a missile fragment was also found on Polish territory.<\/a><\/p>\n
